We are delighted to invite you to a day of celebration to mark 172 years since the co-op shop on Toad Lane first opened on Wednesday 21 December.
Vote for your favourite co-operative object!
At 16:15 staff from Rochdale Pioneers Museum will be running a presentation on periscope to show their 6 chosen objects for their submission to ‘A History of Lancashire in 70 Objects’. The partnership celebration between the HLF, Lancashire Heritage learning, Museum Development North West and Lancashire Life aims to engage communities across the County Palatine with objects and stories held in their local museums, galleries and heritage venues.
The Rochdale Pioneers Museum is asking people to vote on which artefact they would like the museum to submit and so will be talking about their 6 artefacts on periscope.
