We are pleased to announce that booking is now open for “Understanding Co-operatives through Action Research: an introduction”, starting on 7th September.
This introductory course is aimed at those working in and for co-operatives or for those keen to understand co-operatives and to research ‘the co-operative difference’. It expects some basic knowledge of how to conduct research but the approach is one underpinned by co-operative values and principles through the use of participatory and action research methods.
Comprising of three webinars and a day workshop in Manchester over September and October, the course objectives are to enhance participants’ understanding of action and participatory research; prepare them for applying these research methods and illustrate how collected data and research findings can be analysed, interpreted and disseminated.
Participants will be awarded a Co-operative College Certificate in Co-operative Education, Research and Practice.
